This Special Masterworks Session, 14 – 16 October 2024 in Hong Kong, will feature the “Creative Code,” guided by Dr Page Richards, especially as it relates to Creative Content Creation and Creative Writing.
This Masterworks Session will explore a Creative Project, Portfolio, Manuscript or Product: inclusive of Creative Writing, Multimedia Creative Content Creation, Script Development, Character Development & more.
This Special Session offers a focus on the Code of Creativity, focusing on creative content creation & creative writing, with a sneak peek at the power of the “Given and the Made.”

- At GUILD HK, we honour your histories, futures and multidisciplinary creativity. Our passionate community of creators and members exudes our care and commitment to each one of you.
- Dr. Page Richards holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University, the MFA from Boston University, and the BA in Mathematics and Poetry from the University of Pennsylvania. She won a national Mellon Grant in the humanities and sciences. She has worked with world-renowned creators and Nobel winners, performed professionally on worldwide stages, and developed executive partnerships in arts, sciences and technologies. In the U.S., she has taught at Harvard University and Boston University, integrating her work in mathematics, the sciences, poetry and the arts. While Chair of Creative Writing & Theatre at The University of Hong Kong, she established the ground-breaking MA in Creative Communications & the MFA in Creative Writing.
- A professional performer and a theatre co-founder, she grew up on stage, touring worldwide with a major U.S. company, and later worked in Hollywood in script development, casting, and production. Dr. Richards continues to travel widely and gives talks internationally on multilingual creativity, interdisciplinary arts, history, AI & Creative Communications, and more.

- This Special Masterworks Session, led by Dr. Page Richards, is limited to a maximum of 10-15 motivated participants, upon review of each application, including a creative project or proposal, detailed below.
- Emerging creative professionals, students, designers, artists, film-makers and more, in creative content creation, creative writing, or character industries are all welcome!
- Applicants need to submit the following: a creative portfolio or proposal, introducing prior experience or current passionate commitment to a creative project or design portfolio in creative writing or creative content creation.
- This immersive Masterworks Session offers customised guidance & innovative infrastructure to help every participant bring a professional creative project and vision to the next level of expertise and insight.

+Application Process

Your application needs to include the following:- Applicants are required to submit a brief Creative Personal Statement, up to 350 words. The Creative Personal Statement should include your current project or manuscript aims, combined with the vision/challenges/goals for your creative project/content creation proposal. Please include as much detail as possible.
- Applicants also need to submit a brief Creative Portfolio Sample or Writing Sample, up to 750 words/images of current and professional/artistic materials in progress, on which they hope to build with greater leadership and creative mastery.
- Applications must be made in English, and may include instances of content creation in other languages if accompanied by a well-considered English translation.

Candidates who have accepted a conditional offer will be asked to pay in full prior to commencement of the Masterworks Session.
Once a candidate has accepted an offer, and received confirmation of a reserved place in the Masterworks Session, payment will not be refundable.
