Georges is a renowned architect and leader of immersive experience, with over 30 years of international and regional experience in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Recognized for his work and innovation by international publications, design award competitions, and worldwide keynote invitations, Georges leads Immersive Design & Experience at Guild HK. His pulse in contemporary architectural design and immersive experience fuses with an ongoing passion to build a better, healthier, and more resilient future for our communities and cities. Agility entrepreneurship, and craftsmanship—these run a through-line at Guild HK, into the timeless art of making and creating.
Bringing insight and international experience into his teaching portfolio, Georges shared his expertise in creative design and Immersive Experience, leading an advanced and interdisciplinary studio course for The Master of Arts in Creative Communications at The University of Hong Kong. Georges has also led architectural design studios for students at the Master of Architecture degree at the The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In France, at ENSAV, École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles, he led innovative coursework for 3rd and 4th year architectural students, contributing to the students’ interdisciplinary and advanced education in design, creativity, and vision.
Georges has served senior design leadership roles with prestigious design consultancies in Europe and Asia, including Odile Decq + Benoit Cornette Architects & Urbanists in Paris, RMJM & Woods-Bagot in Hong Kong, and Gensler in Greater China.
Throughout years of innovation, rigour of research, and self-reinvention, Georges Hung’s multi-dimensional design work continues to be recognised by awards from The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Union of International Architects (UIA) and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), to name a few, including local and international recognition at heritage events and exhibitions, inclusive of Keynote speaker at The Guangzhou Design Week, Guangzhou.
