Making
the Invisible Visible
Presented by GUILD HONG KONG
Event Summary
Making the Invisible Visible is a powerful and immersive invitation to shine light and care on what otherwise can remain invisible. On a warm evening at JC Cube at Tai Kwun, Guild Hong Kong staged a joyful call to action—a journey for everyone to explore new attention toward our shared futures.
A full house of hearts came together across generations. Featured Hong Kong artists Master Cheung Kam Ping, Ms. Phoebe Lee, Dr. Kuffy Ko, and Mr. Francis Mok, together with young choir members, Sophie Lee, Hugo Chan, and Alison Cheung, set the stage. New ideas took root alongside longtime Guild partnerships.
Focusing on three acts of love, in particular, to explore, “Making the Invisible Visible” can change how we see and care, up close and life-long. Thank you to all for your inspirations!

Guild HK Overview
Aristotle says, meaningful work is an act whose end lies beyond its actual doing. In our digital era of 24-7 streaming and temptations of short-cuts, this kind of work is at risk. At The Guild, for more than 15 years in Hong Kong, China, and wider Asia we have specialized in joining 21st research and the code of creativity to make your own emerging Big Picture visible: reconnecting our lives deeply. Guild HK is your home of building enduring creative vision, big-picture perspective and meaningful work, to last over time.
Guild Pillars
Guild HK is home to The Big Picture: “Then I am myself in the world”
Guild HK invites all members to frame meaningful work and creative vision to call their own, building into lasting work and community. Born in Hong Kong, China and wider Asia, The Guild explores the world’s top scientific and cultural discoveries to support 21st-century works of multimedia arts, creativity and AI, and interdisciplinary employment.
The Guild looks to the Gyres of History: “In dreams begins responsibility”
To help every member build enduring futures, The Guild’s Team treasures long-term modelling, strategic leadership and the deep responsibilities of growth, in ourselves and with our communities. The Guild’s Director, Dr. Page Richards has set the bar high in academic and cultural leadership, for lasting results.
At the Guild, Crossing the Threshold is daily, when “We see into the life of things”
Guild HK is there to help you at key moments of professional and creative inflection. Experiences of professional uncertainty or manuscript “stuckness” are transitioned into unexpected light, publication and meaningful work. Here, you’ll meet others at the same moment of inflection, where, together, the call of achievement grows with your future.

Event Details
A Shift of Vision: What If?
What if we could make the invisible visible on a new entrance of light, guided by our own vision? What if we discover how to shine a light on heritage and love, at an edge of invisibility? This original film by Cayambe Films, produced by Guild Hong Kong, asks to look again to explore how we see. What more can we bring into life and close detail? Take a look!
Renew: Life-Long Attention to Intergenerational Knowledge and Culture
Master Cheung Kam Ping, Master of Canton porcelain crafts, invited us in conversation and example to focus on heritage and generational gifts. Through the guiding detail, we explored how our close attention can honor traditions, stories, and crafts to last over time.
Recognize: Seeing All We Love With Care in Unfamiliar Ways
Ms Phoebe Lee, Theatre Artist, Director, and Teacher guided us on recognizing those closest to us when parts of them become temporarily invisible in cherished familiarity. Exploring those we love anew, through slow motion detail, we looked to bring to light parts of ourselves and others, otherwise unseen.
Reconnect: Building Living Memory and Collective Life Stories
What if someone you treasure is no longer by your side? Dr Kuffy Ko, Writer, Teacher and Memoir Artist, invited us to discover our own angle of light that casts new visibility and articulation with those we love, and to continue to build those living memories together.
